August 12th Finals Prep: To be run on the grass at the August 12th show as CHJA and CHSA Finals prep. We will also run special testing in all classes in the sand ring to prep for CHSA finals as well as diagonal fences where allowed in the Short and Long Stirrup.
Pines August 12 Schedule
Pines Equitation Classic - Class 400:
One-round equitation classic open to juniors and amateurs. To be run all day on an open card and pinned at the completion of the show. Riders may show at any height from 2' to 3'6. Numerical scores to be announced. No in-and-outs. Trophy, add-back prize money & 10 ribbons. First Prize: 20% Add-back prize money and a framed 11x14" Poster print of your choice from TLH Photography. Second Prize: $50 GIft Certificate to The Equestrian Centre in Avon, CT. Third Prize: Gift certificate for a 5x7" Photo donated by TLHPhotography Entry fee: $45
Bonus points for the trainer's award: 1st: 25 pts, 2nd: 20, 3rd: 15, 4th: 12, 5th: 10, 6th: 8, 7th: 7, 8th: 6, 9th: 5, 10th: 4.
Pines Hunter Classic, Class 500:
Open to junior and amateur riders. Two-round hunter classic to be run on an open card all day on the hunt course. The final fence class of each hunter division on the grass will be scored as the first round of the classic, similar to a Marshall & Sterling Classic. Riders will complete their second classic round before the undersaddle. Numerical scores to be announced and the class to be pinned at the completion of the show. No in-and-outs. Cooler, ten ribbons & add-back prize money to be awarded. First Prize: 20% Add-back prize money and embroidered cooler, Second Prize: $50 Gift Certificate to the Equestrian Centre in Avon, CT. Third Prize: Gift certificate for a 5x7" Photo donated by TLHPhotography. Entry fee: $45.
