Putnam Bridge Closed during April Horse Show!
We've just learned that the Putnam bridge will be close Southbound (Glastonbury to Wethersfield) the weekend of our April 25 - 27, 2008 Horse show. Please view suggested alternate plans(PDF). Please call (860) 633-5694 and we can help you plan alternate routes.

Beginning in April 2008, the Department of Transportation will commence work on a project to repair and resurface the Putnam Bridge which carries Route 3 between Wethersfield and Glastonbury. Southbound (Glastonbury to Wethersfield):
The first directional weekend closure will involve the Southbound (Glastonbury and Wethersfield) lanes of the bridge.
These southbound closures will be required for up to five weekends. The duration will be largely dependant on the extent of the required deck repairs and the weather. The first southbound closure is scheduled to take place on the weekend beginning Friday evening, April 25th.
